' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5848, adopted by the Council of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood city,on December 16, 1968, the City Superin-. <br /> <br />tendent of Streets of Redwood City was ordered to abate the nuisance <br /> <br />of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Superintendent.of Streets has submitted to this <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood c~ty for confirmation an itemized <br /> <br />report of the cost of the abatement of weeds, dirt, rubbish and <br /> <br />rank growths from or abutting each ~eparate parcel of land from <br /> <br />wl?ich weeds, dirt,' rubbish or rank growths were removed, and a <br /> <br />list of the expenses proposed to be assessed against said parcels <br /> <br />for said abatement: and <br /> <br />v.7HEREAS, as appears from affidavits on file, the requirements. <br /> <br />for posting, publishing and mailing said reports or portions thereof <br /> <br />and the time and place of the hearing thereon set forth in Section <br /> <br />-' <br />14.48 of Article IV, Chapter l4, of the. Code of the City have been <br /> <br />complied with in the form and manner specified by law: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing, opportunity was 'given for any and <br /> <br />all objections raised by any property O\'ffier liable to be assessed <br /> <br />for the work of abating weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths to <br /> <br />be heard by this Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO'vS: <br /> <br />l. That all objections to the itemized~report and proposed <br /> <br />assessment list of the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of <br />
