I <br />; ~ ~ ~ IxJ , ~ -~ r ~ __ <br /> <br />JUl 28 'fiQ <br /> <br />R E .e. 0 L U T 1. 0 N N O. foot.fl.o <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING STRUCTURES LOCATED AT 546 MAPLE STREET <br />IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, DIRECTING <br />THE OWNER TO ABATE SAID NUISANCE, AND ORDERING THE EXPENSE <br />OF ABATEMENT TO BE MADE A LIEN UPON THE LAND IN THE EVENT THE <br />NUISANCE IS NOT ABATED BY THE OWNER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />has"initiated proceedings pursuant to the provisions of Article <br /> <br />II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City with <br /> <br />respect to the structures (consisting of a dwelling building, and <br /> <br />garage and attached structure) located at 546 Maple Street in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of a hearing has been given in accordance' <br /> <br />with Section 9.7 of Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has conducted a hearing pursuant to said <br /> <br />notice and heard testimony and received evidence concerning the <br /> <br />condition of said structures and the estimated costs of abatement <br /> <br />by repair, reconstruction or removal in accordance with the <br /> <br />provisions of Section 9.8 of Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds that the occupied wood-frame <br /> <br />dwelling building, and garage and attached structure located on <br /> <br />the real property hereinafter described, and commonly designated <br /> <br />as 546 Maple Street, Redwood City, California, constitute a public <br /> <br />nuisance in that they, and each of them, fail to comply, and exist <br /> <br />and are maintained in violation of specific requirements or pro- <br /> <br />hibitions applicable thereto provided by the building regulations <br />of this City as specified in the Uniform Building Code, Volume 3, <br /> <br />Housing, 1967 Edition, as more particularly set out in the report <br />
