'- ' publicly owned territory included within the territory proposed to be annexed, including land and improvements thereon is JZ.nu--I Dollars ($ ) : and WHEREAS, this Council adjourned for a lack of a quorum on said July 21, 1969, continuing said hearing to July 28, 1969, at 7:30p.m., Veterans Memorial Building, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood city, California, and duly met and convened at said time and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said pro- posed annexation, and to the time(s} and~place(s} to which said hearing was continued, and has at the hearing in open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and has given all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and has received evidence relevant to such annexation: NOW, THEREFORE, said Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby find and determine that protest to the proposed an- nexation to the city of Redwood City of the territory designated as IIEDGEWOOD ROAD ANNEXATION NO.2" and mare fully described in that certain Resolution No. 6006, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate, Pursuant to Petition, Proceedings to Annex to Said City certain Uninhabited Territory: Describing Said Territory and Designating it by the Name 'Edgewood Road Annexation No. 2': Making Certain Findings Respecting Said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time and Place Said Council'Will Hear Protests to . Said Annexation," adopted by said Council on the 9th day of June, 1969, has not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of private property within the said designated territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, California, nor by private owners and public owners of one-half of the value of the territory as said value has been determined according to law. * * * ':"3-
