<br />~. <br /> <br />~; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby supports the position of the Board <br />of Supervisors, County of San Mateo, State of California, stated <br />in its Resolution No. 26273 to the effect that the proposed <br />San Francisco Bay-Delta Water Quality Control Program does not <br />meet the objectives of highest pollution removal and maximum <br />opportunity for local and regional beneficial waste water reuse. <br />2. This Council hereby reaffirms its position supporting <br />the strategic consolidated sewerage plan of the Cities of Redwood <br />City, San Carlo~, and Belmont; and further proposes and intends <br />to continue the implementation of said strategic consolidated <br />sewerage plan. <br />3. This Council hereby urges the state Water Resources <br />Control Board to recommend to the state Legislature that no <br />plan of implementation of the proposed San Francisco Bay-Delta <br />Water Quality Control Program be approved. <br />4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />transmit copies of this resolution to the state Water Resources <br />Control Board, the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board, and the Board of Supervisors, County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
