S-977 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING <br />TO THE OPERATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY TRANSIT SYSTEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has established a municipal <br /> <br />transit system for public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City entered into an agreement on April 1, 1968, <br /> <br />with ServiCar of Northern California, Inc., for operation of said <br /> <br />transit system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that the public convenience, <br /> <br />health, welfare, morals, and safety require the adoption of rules <br /> <br />and regulations governing the conduct and operation of the municipal <br /> <br />transit system; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Those certain rules and regulations relating to the conduct <br /> <br />and operation of the municipal transit system of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, attached hereto as "Exhibit A," are hereby approved <br /> <br />and adopted, and the City Manager is hereby directed to transmit <br /> <br />a copy thereof together with a copy of this resolution to ServiCar <br /> <br />of Northern California, Inc., with directions to said company to <br /> <br />implement the aforesaid rules and regulations in the operation <br /> <br />of the City's transit system pursuant to the above mentioned <br /> <br />agreement. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
