<br />~ " <br /> <br />~ . . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL TRANSIT SYSTEM <br /> <br />Pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />, adopted <br /> <br />1969, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, the following <br /> <br />rules and regulations governing the conduct and operation of the <br /> <br />municipal transit system of the City of Redwood City are hereby <br /> <br />established: <br /> <br />1. Vehicle operators shall have exclusive control of the <br /> <br />vehicle while in operation. <br /> <br />2. Vehicle operators may refuse transportation to any <br /> <br />disorderly person or to any person who fails to abide by these <br /> <br />rules and regulations, or who violates any local, State or <br /> <br />Federal law. <br /> <br />3. Vehicle operators may refuse transportation or require <br /> <br />any person to exit from the vehicle after requesting that such <br /> <br />person or persons refrain from the following conduct, activity, <br /> <br />or condition and such request is ignored or refused: Any activity, <br /> <br />state, or condition that is offensive or potentially injurious <br /> <br />to other persons on the bus or that interferes with the safe and <br /> <br />efficient operation of the bus, including, but not limited to, <br /> <br />the following: <br /> <br />(a) Playing radios or other devices capable of making noise <br />or sound offensive to others; <br /> <br />(b) Shouting, singing, or whistling; <br /> <br />(c) Using profane language; <br /> <br />(d) Setting off firecrackers; <br />(e) Lighting matches; <br />
