Sfl60 APR14 'flI RESOLUTION WITIIDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT, .AND CONSENTING TO DETAC~lENT OF A~mEXED TERRITORY FROM HIGHLANDS POLICE PROTECTION DISTRICT - FAMILTON WAY ANNEXATION NO. 1 WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as "Hamilton Way Annexation No.1," was annexed to the City of Redwood City by Ordinance No. 1392, said annexation being effective on March 27, 1969; and WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Local Agency Formation Com- mission, pursuant to Chapter 6.6 of Title 5 of Division 2 of Part 1 of the Government Code, approved said annexation on the condition that the territory to be annexed be withdra~~ from the Emerald Lake Lighting District and the Highlands Police District; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: l. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the herein- after described property known as "Hamilton vvay Annexation No.1," is hereby declared withdrawn from the Emerald'Lake Lighting District. 2. Consent is hereby given to the detachment of the herein- after described property known as "Hamilton~7ay Annexation No. I," from the Highlands Police Protection Di~trict in accordance with the provisions of Division 1 of Title 6 of the California Government Code. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the San Mateo County Assessor, the Emerald Lake Lighting District, and the Highlands Police Protection District. !-- -.
