SCJ07 <br /> <br />FFB J7 oft <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />FIRESTATION BUILDING, STATION NO.4, REDWOOD CITY; <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED: AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID' WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5856, adopted December 16, <br /> <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of a <br /> <br />firestation building, Stataon No.4, in the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION CO., San Francisco, california, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Commercial. <br /> <br />Construction Co.: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Commercial Construction Co., in the total <br /> <br />lump sum amount of One Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Dollars ($124,800.00), mare/'or . less.;' computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated February 4, 1969, with any adjustments <br /> <br />under alternate bids No. 1 and No. 2 which may be made pursuant <br /> <br />to the terms of the bid proposal, for the construction of a <br /> <br />firestation building, Station No.4, in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2.
