Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3. Any informality in the bid of Ernest E. Pestana, Inc., <br />is hereby waived. <br />4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />that certain agreement entitled "Redwood City G.I.D. No. 1-65 - <br />Agreement II (form dated 2/14/69) between the City of Redwood City <br />and Ernest E. Pestana, Inc., for the performance of said work in <br />accordance with the above mentioned proposal, a copy of which <br />agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br />5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />return to all unsuccessful bidders, and to the successful bidder <br />upon execution by it of a contract for the performance of said <br />work, all security guaranteeing execution of the contract upon <br />award. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
