SJ7..r.f <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR MARINE WORLD PARK~vAY, <br />SECTION 1, FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND, DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY, <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />Ot." 16 '~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5811, adopted <br /> <br />October 21, 1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the con- <br /> <br />struction of a street lighting system for Section 1 of Marine <br /> <br />World Parkway, for Redi,vood Ci ty General Improvement District <br /> <br />No. 1-64; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC., of San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said contract to Rosendin <br /> <br />Electri.c, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOTtlS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of ROSENDIN ELECTRI~, INC., in the total amount <br /> <br />of Thirty Thousand ~vo Hundred Three and 25/100 Dollars ($30,203.25), <br /> <br />more o~ less, computed at the unit prices quoted in bidder's pro- <br /> <br />posal opened December 4, 1968, for the construction of a street <br /> <br />lighting system for Section 1 of Marine World Parkway, for <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement Distri.ct No. 1-64, in accordance <br /> <br />with plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and .said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />declared to be the lo~est responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of ~he City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement, Redwood City General <br />
