' <br /> <br />, ' , <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MEASURES SUBMITTED TO VOTE OF VOTERS <br /> <br />MEASURE (A): <br />(Reclamation and <br />Drainage Project) <br /> <br />Shall Redwood City General <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 <br />incur a general obligation <br />bonded indebtedness in the <br />principal amount of $23,508,000 for the acqui- <br />sition, construction, improvement, maintenance <br />and operation of the following district project, <br />to wit: Reclamation and Drainage Project com- <br />prising (a) preparation works, including cleaning <br />out of depressions and sloughs in areas to be <br />filled and disposition of unsuitable materials; <br />excavation of ponding basins and waterways; excava- <br />tion, grading, preparation and leveling with <br />on-site material of surface of areas to be filled; <br />and excavation of existing waterways and use of <br />excavated material as fill in specified areas or <br />disposition of same if unsuitable; (b) levee <br />works, includin~ construction, reconstruction, <br />or removal of levees; construction of levee facing <br />or levee protection works; construction.of jetties <br />or dams for harbors or for controlled level water- <br />ways; (c) fill and grading works, including exca- <br />vation, transportation, placing, ~rading and com- <br />pacting of fill; and placing and removal of <br />imported fill surcharges where needed; (d) drain- <br />age system works, including construction of storm <br />drainage collection systems, canals and appurten- <br />ant facilities, treatment of slopes and instal- <br />lation of drainage structures to protect adjacent <br />lands; (e) pump and discharge works, including <br />construction of drainage pumping and discharge <br />facilities; (f) control system works, including <br />construction of drainage control structures, tide <br />gates and appurtenances; installation or construc- <br />tion of water level control structures and appur- <br />tenances; and construction or installation of con- <br />trol systems to coordinate pumping stations and <br />control structures; (g) lands, rights-of-way and <br />easements for any or all of said works; and (h) <br />other works, property or structures necessary or <br />convenient for said project? <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />YES <br /> <br />NO <br />
