S77~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br />OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />BEING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY--REDWOOD SHORES MARLIN NO. 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30.6 of the Code of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, the Planning Commission has, sUbject to certain <br /> <br />conditions hereinafter set forth, recommended approval of the <br /> <br />application of the owner of the below described property for <br /> <br />exceptions to the provisions of Chapter 30 of the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, being the subdivision regulations of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, to allow two cul-de-sac streets to have a <br /> <br />maximum length greater than that provided in said Code; to allow <br /> <br />44 lots to have less than the minimum frontage on the front <br /> <br />property line: and to allow 406 lots to have less than the <br /> <br />minimum lot area required by said Code for the applicable zoning <br /> <br />district: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide <br /> <br />is made is all that certain real property situate in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of that certain real property com- <br />monly known as the Redwood Peninsula, consisting <br />of approximately 220 acres, as shown on the <br />map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and <br />incorporated herein as if set out herein in <br />its entirety; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a tentative map of <br /> <br />the proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of <br /> <br />Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, which map <br /> <br />has been reviewed by this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to <br /> <br />this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br /> <br />which affect said property; that the exceptions applied for are <br />
