DES:d.~ ' '09/90 (003/28) <br /> <br /> this Board does hereby further declare that the public interest <br /> and necessity require the immediate performance of emergency <br /> public work or service to repair and rehabilitate said roof. <br /> <br /> 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 49a, and based <br /> upon the foregoing declaration, this Board does hereby authorize <br /> and order the suspension of the requirements of said Section 49a <br /> for the publication of notice inviting public bids for the afore- <br /> mentioned Work of repair and rehabilitation. <br /> <br /> 3. The bid of Royal Roofing Co., Inc., of San Jose, <br />California dated October 12, 1990 in the amount of Sixteen <br />Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($16,250.00), obtained by <br />informal solicitation of written bids, is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for Said work. <br /> <br /> 4. Any informalities in the aforesaid bid of Royal Roofing <br />Co., Inc., are, and each of them is hereby, waived. <br /> <br /> 5. The Port Executive Director (Port Manager) is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute such purchase orders or other <br />documents (in form approved by the Port Attorney) necessary or <br />appropriate to accomplish the aforesaid work of rehabilitation <br />and repair. <br /> <br /> Regularly passed ~nd adopted by the Board of Port <br />Commissioners of Redwood City, this 14th day of November , 1990. <br /> <br /> AYES, and in favor of said resolution, Commissioners: <br /> Bennett, Castle, Dodge, Small, Smith <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
