I I': ~~/'#. . , DES:lm:7/31/68 RES OLUT.!.ON N o. 5751 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF WEED ABATEMENT, OVERRULING PROTESTS THERETO AND AUTHOR- IZING DELIVERY OF REPORT FOR THE ADDITION OF THE ASSESS- MENT AMOUNTS TO NEXT REGULAR TAX BILLS AGAINST PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5646, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on March 25, 1968, the City Super- intendent of Streets of Redwood city was ordered to abate the nuisance of weeds, dirt, rubbish and- rank growths in the city of Redwood City: and WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to this Council of the City of Redwood city for confirmation an itemized report of the cost of the abatement of weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each separate parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish or rank growths were removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be assessed against said parcels for said abatement; and WHEREAS, as appears from affidavits on file, the requirements for posting, publishing and mailing said reports or portions thereof and the time and place of the hearing thereon set forth in Sections l4.47 and l4.48 of Article IV, Chapter l4, of the Code of the City/of Redwood City have been complied with in the form and manner specified by law; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, opportunity was given for any and all objections raised by any property owner liable to be assessed for the work of abating weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths to be heard by this Council; NOW, THEREFORE ; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
