S1/Q ORIGINAL RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION BY.THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF 'A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT', NAMELY, A PUBLIC STREET, IN AND UPON THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBEDi THAT THE ACQUISITION OF A RIGHT OF WAY AND EASEMENTS IN SAID RE~L PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED IS NECESSARY FOR SAID PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTi AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING AN ACTION IN EMINENT DOMAIN TO ACQUIRE SAID REAL PROPERTY FOR SAID PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT AND, TO APPLY FOR AN ORDER OF IMMEDIATE POSSESSION OF SAID REAL PROPERTYi AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE .CITY MANAGER TO DEPOSIT MONEY FOR IMMEDIATE POSSESSION OF SAID REAL PROPERTY BElT' RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, . AS FOLLOWS: ~hat it hereby finds and deter~ines and declares: That the public interest and necessity require the acquisi- tion and construction by the City of Redwood City of a public improvement, namely, a public street and appurtenances, in and upon that certain real pr9perty hereinafter des~ribed; That the acquisition by the City of Redwood City of a right of way and easements in and upon that certain real property hereinafter described is necessary f9r said public improvement; \ That said public improvement is the use to'which said real property is to be applied, and that said use is a public use I . ~uthorized by law; That said public improvement is planned and located in the manner which wilt be most. compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injurYi AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Redwood City acquire said right, of way and easements in and upon said real property for said public improvement by an action in eminent domain in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the provisions of Article I, Section 14, of the Constitution of the State of California, , and the provisions of the Code of civil Procedure of'the State of California relating to eminent domain; said real property and easements being more particularly described as follows:
