• <br />R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N N O. <br />AEG :yc:5/15/61-7 <br />0 <br />3 'r � �/4 I <br />,9(; --�" , <br />-ZESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE <br />PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT <br />V4ifi ALAS, the City Engineer has advised this Council that the <br />hereinafter described portions of a public utility easement are <br />no longer necessary or needed for public municipal purposes; and <br />V=- the easement portions which are no longer necessary <br />or needed for public municipal purposes are portions of that ease- <br />ment which were designated as such on that map entitled `Sabrina <br />Court, iredwood City, California," recorded August 16, 1960, in <br />the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County in Book 53 of Maps <br />at pa 46, and have not been used as such since that date and <br />WHEREAS,, said portions are unnecessary for present or pros- <br />pective public use; and <br />1;7HE'_!J,1EAS,, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company has signified <br />its approval to the abandonment of said portions of said easement; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, <br />Part 1, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code provides a <br />procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Council of -the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br />its intention to abandon the hereinafter described portions of a <br />public utility easement pursuant to the aforementioned Government <br />Code provisions. <br />2.
