t # i i <br />R E S 0 L U T I O N N 0. q-) 't ' e <br />REG: yc : 4/20/61 -7 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIX INCH <br />CAST IRON CEMENT LINED TYTON JOINT WATER MAINS ON CER- <br />TAIN NAMED STREETS; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION CUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3342, adopted March 27, <br />1961, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of six <br />inch (6 ") Cast Iron Cement Lined Tyton Joint Water Mains on the <br />following named streets: <br />1. Sunset Way and South Oak Park Way between California <br />Way and Oak Park Way; <br />2. California Way between Sunset Way and Paradise Way; <br />3. California Way from West California Way to a point <br />600 linear feet easterly along California Way; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, E. T. HAAS COMPANY, Belmont, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Council to award said bid to E. T. Haas Company, and reject <br />all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of E. T. HAAS COMPANY, in the amount of Seven <br />Thousand One Hundred Ten Dollars ($7,110.00), more or less, (which <br />sum is the total of bidder's bids on Proposals I. II and III set <br />forth in the proposal submitted by bidder) for the construction <br />of six inch (6 ") Cast Iron Cement Lined Tyton Joint Water Mains <br />on: (1) Sunset Way and South Oak Way between California Way and <br />Oak Park Way; (2) California Way between Sunset Way and Paradise <br />Way; and (3) California Way from West California Way to a point <br />600 linear feet Easterly along California Way, according to the <br />
