plans and specifications heretofore approved by Resolution <br />No. 3342, at the price quoted in its proposal dated April 18, <br />1961, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to <br />be the lowest responsible bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br />certain agreement entitled ' agreement" between the City of Redwood <br />City and E. T. Haas Company for the performance of said work in <br />accordance with the above mentioned plans and specifications <br />and in accordance with the above mentioned proposal, a copy of <br />which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk and to which reference is hereby made for full particulars <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br />4. The City Clerk, upon and after the execuLion of the agree- <br />ment authorized in paragraph 3 hereof by the successful bidder, is <br />hereby authorized and directed to return to each bidder to whom <br />award has not been made, the bidder's bond or bidder's security <br />furnished by such unsuccessful bidder to the City. <br />-2- <br />
