DES:F"~ '22/90 (008/26) <br /> <br /> (iii) Vacation Leave. Vacation leave with pay shall be <br /> credited to officers and employees specified in subdivision <br /> (a) above, and this subdivision (b) at the yearly rates of <br /> accrual as set forth below for each full year of service as <br /> indicated immediately across therefrom in the following <br /> schedule: <br /> <br /> Rate of Accrual Years of Service <br /> <br /> (Expressed in Working <br /> Days per Year and Hours <br /> per year, but accrued <br /> on a monthly basis <br /> <br /> 10 days (80 hours) 1 through 5, inclusive <br /> 15 days (120 hours) 6 through 14, inclusive <br /> 20 days (160 hours) 15 and above <br /> <br /> No vacation leave shall be granted during the initial <br />6-month period of employment. Upon. completion of the <br />initial six-month period of employment, an employee shall be <br />credited with five work days (40 hours) of vacation leave. <br />Thereafter vacation leave shall be credited on a monthly <br />basis at the applicable rates of accrual hereinabove set <br />forth. Upon termination of employment, a permanent employee <br />shall be credited with such vacation leave as shall have <br />accrued to said employee, prorated to the date of <br />termination. No vacation leave shall be credited to any <br />employee whose employment is terminated prior to the <br />expiration of the .initial 6-month period of employment. <br />Vacation leave shall not be accrued in excess of that <br /> <br />accruable at the rates hereinabove specified for two <br /> <br />successive years of employment, computed to December 31 of <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
