DES:~"'~ /22/90 (008/26) <br /> <br /> any year. Vacation leaves shall be scheduled by the Port <br /> Executive Director (Port Manager) for all employees of the <br /> Port except for the Port Executive Director (Port Manager). <br /> Vacation leave for the Port Executive Director (Port <br /> Manager) shall be scheduled by the Board of Port <br /> Commissioners. Due regard shall be given to the needs of <br /> the service and the desires of the employee in scheduling <br /> vacation leave. <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding the foregoing, any employee who, as of · <br />the effective date of this resolution, has accrued vacation <br />leave in excess of that amount accruable for two successive <br />years of employment at the applicable rate hereinabove <br />specified, shall not after said date accrue any additional <br />vacation leave until such time as such employee has reduced <br />his or her accrued vacation leave to an amount equal to that <br />accruable for two successive years of employment; provided, <br />however, that such employee shall, prior to December 31, <br />1992, use such vacation leave so as to reduce such excess <br />accrual to the maximum allowable amount. Such employees <br />shall use not less than 20% per year of said excess vacation <br />leave in reducing said excess accrued amount. The Port <br />Manager shall determine the maximum excess vacation leave <br />which an employee may use in any year. Any amount of <br />accrued vacation leave in excess of the amount accruable for <br />two successive years of employment at the applicable rate <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
