I .- <br />There is excepted from said district all streets and other public <br />property used in the performance Of a public function. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and said Council of said City does <br />determine, that serial bonds to represent the unpaid assessments <br />of $25.00 or over, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent <br />(6 %) per annum will be issued pursuant to the provisions of <br />Article I, Sections 5 and 5a of Ordinance No. 333, entitled <br />"Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance ", adopted March <br />14, 1932, as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall <br />mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day of January next suc- <br />ceeding the 15th day of the next November following their date. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in many instances the grades of <br />the finished work will, or may be, substantially different from <br />the existing grades. <br />Reference is hereby made to the resolution of said Council <br />determining to make said improvements without compliance with <br />the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority <br />Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. 335+ on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk of said City. <br />All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in <br />said Article I of Ordinance No. 333• <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that Monday, the 22nd day of <br />May, 1961, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. of said day, at the Board of <br />Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, <br />California, has been and is hereby fixed as the day, hour and place <br />when and where any and all persons having any objections to the <br />proposed work and improvements described herein, or to the grade <br />to which said work and improvements are to be done and made, or to <br />the district proposed to be assessed for said work and improve- <br />ments, may appear before said Council of said City and show cause <br />why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out <br />and done in accordance with this resolution of intention,' or why <br />said work and improvements should not be carried out and done at <br />-3- <br />
