I� <br />REG - yc : 4/l2/6 l -7 <br />l rt � !'r <br />R E S 0 L U T I O N N 0. 20 PO <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br />JEFFERSON AVENUE BETWEEN FRANKLIN AND ADAMS <br />STREETS, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED, <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3332, adopted March 13, <br />1961, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of street <br />improvements on Jefferson Avenue between Franklin Street and Adams <br />Street in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, F. F. & M. COMPANY, INC . , a California corporation, <br />Burlingame, California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br />F. F. & M. Company, Inc., and reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of F. F . & M. Company, Inc . , in the amount of <br />Twenty Thousand Two Hundred Eighty -two and 55/100 Dollars <br />($20,,282.55), more or less, for the construction of street improve- <br />ments on Jefferson Avenue between Franklin Street and Adams Street <br />in the City of Redwood City, according to the plans and specifica- <br />tions heretofore approved by Resolution No. 3332, at the price <br />quoted in its proposal dated April 5, 1961, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br />
