• fZEG: yc : 3/24/61 -7 <br />RE SOLUT I ON NO. 3344 <br />RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO TRANSFER OF CONTROL <br />AND JURISDICTION OVER PORTION OF _PORT AREA <br />WHEREAS, subsection (4) of Section 47f of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City provides for the surrender and relinquishment <br />by the Board of Port Commissioners of control and jurisdiction over <br />portions of the "Port Area" under the jurisdiction of said Board <br />to the Council of the City of Redwood City subject to the consent <br />of the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable and in the public interest that <br />control and jurisdiction over the hereinafter described portion <br />of said "Port Area`: be relinquished by the Port Department and <br />the Board of Port Commissioners, and that control and jurisdiction <br />over said described portion be assumed by the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City for municipal purposes; and <br />III EREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of <br />Redwood City did relinquish and transfer control and jurisdiction <br />over the hereinafter described portion of said area to the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City by the adoption of 1 11 , 1 esolution No. <br />P 357 , entitled "Resolution Transferring and Relinquishing <br />Control and Jurisdiction of Certain Described Portion of Port <br />Area to the Council of the City of Redwood City," adopted by the <br />Board of Port Commissioners on the 3rd day of April <br />1961; <br />NOW, THE EEFORE : <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That, in accordance with Section 47f of subsection (4) <br />of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, this Council does <br />hereby consent to the relinquishment of control and jurisdiction <br />
