PUMPER, MINIMUM 7 GALLON <br />TANK; AND, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br />r ?HEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3297, adopted January 23, <br />1961, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of fire <br />apparatus, consisting of a 1000 G.P.M. pumper, minimum 750 gallon <br />tank; and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br />filed with the City Manager; and, <br />v7IEREAS, Coast Apparatus, Incorporated, Martinez, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br />of this Council to award said bid to Coast Apparatus, Incorporated, <br />and reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS F OLLG : <br />1. The bid of Coast Apparatus, Incorporated, in the amount <br />of Twenty -six Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety -five and 44/100 <br />Dollars ($26,895.44), for the furnishing of fire apparatus con- <br />sisting of a 1000 G.P.M. pumper, minimum 750 gallon tank, according <br />to plans and specifications therefor heretofore approved by <br />Resolution No. 3297, at the price quoted in its proposal dated <br />February 27, 1961, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. Any informalities <br />in the proposal of Coast Apparatus, Incorporated, are hereby <br />waived. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the furnishing of said fire apparatus, other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3.
