--� - RJ k :1 /5/61 -7 <br />Y~ <br />RE S GLUT I ON N0. 3279 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RESURFACING OF TENNIS <br />COURTS AT COMMUNITY PARK AND MEZES PARK; AND, <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3264, adopted December 12, <br />1960, the City Clerk called bids for the resurfacing of tennis <br />courts at Community Park and Mezes Park, Redwood City; and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br />filed with the City Manager; and, <br />,HHEREAS, O. C. JONES AND SONS, Berkeley, California, are <br />the lowest responsible bidders and it is the intention and desire <br />of this Council to award said bid to 0. C. Jones and Sons, and <br />reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREF ORE ; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of 0. C. Jones and Sons, in the amount of <br />Three Thousand One Hundred Eighty -eight and 04/100 Dollars <br />($3,188.04), more or less, for the resurfacing of the tennis <br />courts at Community Park and Mezes Park, in the City of Redwood <br />City, according to plans and specifications therefor heretofore <br />approved by Resolution No. 3264, at the written unit prices <br />quoted in its proposal dated December 28, 1960, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder. Any informalities in the proposal of 0. C. Jones and <br />Sons are hereby waived. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the resurfacing of the tennis courts at Community Park and <br />Mezes Park, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, <br />are hereby rejected. <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />
