<br />,/' <br />-( <br /> <br />/~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:12/14/60-7 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T 1. 0 N N o. 3265-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIn FOR WATERPROOFING OF SEQUOIA <br />RESERVOIRS, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED, AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3248, adopted November 21, <br /> <br />1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the waterproofing of the <br /> <br />two 4-million gallon reinforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia <br /> <br />Reservoirs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CHRISTY ROOFING COMPANY, Tracy, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Christy Roofing Company, and <br /> <br />reject all other bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDt-lOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The bid of Christy Roofing Company, in the amount of <br /> <br />Twenty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-six and 46/100 Dollars <br />($28,236.46)j more or less, for the waterproofing of the two <br /> <br />4-million gallon reinforced concrete water tanks at the Sequoia <br /> <br />Reservoirs, according to Proposal I of the plans and specifications <br /> <br />heretofore approved by Resolution No. 3248, at the written unit <br /> <br />prices quoted in its proposal dated December 8, 1960, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest res- <br /> <br />ponsible bidder. Any informalities in the proposal of Christy <br /> <br />Roofing Company are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the waterproofing of the two 4-million gallon reinforced <br /> <br />concrete water tanks at the Sequoia Reservoirs, other than the <br /> <br />bid mentioned in paragraph I hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
