. . NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in many instances the grades of the finished work will or may be substantially different from the existing grades. There is excepted from said district all streets and other public property used in the performance of a public function. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and said Council of said City does determine, that serial bonds to represent the unpaid assessments of $50.00 or over, bearing interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum will be issued pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 as embodied in Division 7, Part 5, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall ~ature fourteen (14) years from the second day of January next succeeding the first day of the next September following their date. The City of Redwood City intends to contribute toward the cost of said improvements, the sum of $7,437.52 from gasoline tax funds and will pay in cash the assessments attributable to city-owned property included in assessments numbered 5 and 10 from general funds and Parking District No.1 funds, respectively. Reference is hereby made to the resolution of said Council determining to make said improvements without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority ':.3 ~ S>J./o Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. ~ on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in the Improvement Act of 1911.
