RES 0 L U T 1. 0 N N O. 3249 RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DIVISION OF SMALL CRAFT HARBORS, FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL LOAN IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,,000 WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City made formal application to the Division of Small Craft Harbors, state of California, in May, 1958, for a loan pursuant to the provisions of the Small Craft Harbors Law (Division 5.7 [commencing at Section 5801]: of the Public Resources Code): and WHEREAS, the Division of Small Craft Harbors approved the application for a loan in the amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) on January 13, 1959: and WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California ~pproved the loan on February 16, 1959: and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did by its Resolution No. 2898 of November 9, 1959, affirm and ratify its application with the Division, and did subsequently enter into an agreement with the Division and did receive the loan of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000): and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did by its Resolution No. 3184 of August 22, 1960, approve the plans and specifications for the Municipal Marina, which plans and speci- fications were approved by the Division of Small Craft Harbors, and did authorize the calling for bids: and WEEREAS, all bids received for the actual construction of the Municipal Marina were in excess of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000): the lowest being a bid for Three Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Dollars ($335,580): and WHEREAS, this Council has been informed that the Division would make available an additional sum in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000); and
