<br />\. <br /> <br />rr" <br />'- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />., . <br /> <br />There is excepted from said district all streets and other <br /> <br />public property used in the performance of a public function. <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and said Council of said City <br /> <br />does determine, that serial bonds to represent the unpaid <br />assessments of $50.00 or over, bearing interest at the rate <br />of six percent (6%) per annum will be issued pursuant to the <br /> <br />provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 as embodied in <br /> <br />Division 7, Part 5, of the streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, as amended, the last installment of which <br />bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day of <br /> <br />January next succeeding the 1st day of the next September <br /> <br />following their date. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City intends to contribute toward <br /> <br /> <br />the cost of said improvements, the sum of $59,627.93 from <br /> <br />gasoline tax funds and will pay in cash the assessments at- <br /> <br />tributab1e to city-owned property included in assessments <br /> <br />numbered 5 and 10 from general funds and Parking District <br /> <br />No.1 funds, respectively. <br /> <br />Reference is hereby made to the resolution of said Council <br /> <br />determining to make said improvements without compliance with <br /> <br />the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority <br /> <br />Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. 3198 <br />the office of the City Clerk of said City. <br /> <br />on file in <br /> <br />All work provided for herein shall be done as provided in <br /> <br />the Improvement Act of 1911. <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that Monday, the 31st day <br /> <br />of October, 1960, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. of said day, at <br /> <br />the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, has been and is hereby fixed as the ~ <br /> <br />-4- <br />
