<br />" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />FREEWAY MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into, in duplicate, this <br />day or , 19_, by and between the <br />State ot California, aoting by and through the Department or <br />Public Works, Division or Highways, hereinafter tor <br />convenience referl'ed to as "the state", and the Cl ty of <br />Redwood 01 t-y, hereinafter tor convenience referred to as <br />"the 01 ty", wi tness. th: <br />WHEREAS, on November -25, 1958, a Freeway Agreaaent was <br />executed between the State and the City wherln the City <br />consented to certain adjustments of the City street system <br />required tor the development of that portion ot State Highway <br />Route 68 within the City between the north cit, limits and <br />the east city limits as a freeway, and <br />WHEREAS, on Februar}J. 8, 1955, a Freeway Agree~ent wa.s <br />executed between the State and the County of San Mateo wherein <br />the County oonsented to certain adjustments of the County <br />road system required tor the development of that portion ot <br />Route 68 with.in the County between 0.2 mile north of the <br />north city limits of Redwood Jlty, as then existing, and 0.3 <br />mile south of Marsh Road as a freeway, and <br />WHEREAS, on October 1, 19$8, a Freeway Maintenance <br />Agreement wa.s executed between the ~tate and the County of <br />San Mateo covering that portion of State Highway lioute 68 <br />between 0.2 mile north of the north city limits or Redwood City, <br />as then existing, and Marsh Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the City has subsequently annexed portions of <br />County terri tory including port~ons of the Baysflore Freeway <br />covered by the above mentioned agreements with the Oounty of <br />
