<br />.. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />San Mateo, and has thereby taken over eontrol ot Oounty <br /> <br /> <br />roads, hereinafter referred to as City streets, within such <br /> <br /> <br />terra1 tory I and <br /> <br /> <br />.-, WHEREAS, the work described under said Freew8.y AgreEl11ent <br /> <br /> <br />between the State and the City dated November 25, 1958, and <br /> <br /> <br />said Freeway Agreement between the stat. and the County or <br /> <br /> <br />San Mateo dated February 8, 1955, 1s now completed, and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under Section 3 of each ot said freeway agreements <br /> <br /> <br />the City will/resume control and maintenance over eaoh of the <br /> <br /> <br />relocated or reconstruoted City streets, except on those <br /> <br /> <br />portions adopted by the State as ,8 part ot the freeway proper, <br /> <br /> <br />and accept control and maintenance over each of the frontage <br /> <br />roads; <br /> <br />NOW, TH8REFORE, it is agreed: <br /> <br /> <br />1. This agreement supersedes conflicting portions ot the <br /> <br /> <br />Freewa7 Maintenanoe Agreement between the State and the County <br /> <br /> <br />or San Mateo dated Ootober 1, 1958, between 0.2 mile north of <br /> <br /> <br />the north city limits of Redwood City, as then existing, and <br /> <br /> <br />Marsh Road. <br /> <br />2. Except as hereinafter specified the Cl ty will maintain, <br />at City's expense, all ~ort1on8 of City streets and frontage <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />roads and other local roads eonstruoted by the State and <br />appurtenant structures and bordering areas colored In yellow <br />and purple on the attached map marked Exh1bit "A" between the <br />north oity limits and the east city limits. <br />3. Except as hereinafter provided the State will maintain, <br />at State's expense, all portions of the freeway and those portions <br />ot City streets adopted hereby as a part of the freeway proper. <br />4.
