<br />~.~, ' <br />../ ;.1. <br />..."..... <br />~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:6/24/60-7 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 3129 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br />VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- <br />DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF .REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, the <br /> <br /> <br />Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> <br />of George E. Thompson and Dorothy Mae Thompson for an exception to <br /> <br /> <br />the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance No. 631 to allow <br /> <br /> <br />the subdivision of the hereinafter described property into two <br /> <br /> <br />lots, each of which would have an area of 5,000 square feet <br /> <br /> <br />instead of the required 6,000 square feet; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br /> <br /> <br />made is all that certain real property situate in the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, located <br /> <br />on Haven Avenue and also having frontage on Rose Avenue, described <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Southerly half of L.ot 4, Block 10, 505 Friendly Acres <br />Sub No.1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said applicants have submdtted a map of the proposed <br /> <br />subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 631 <br /> <br />and said map has been recommended for approval by the Planning <br /> <br /> <br />Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to this <br /> <br />Council that exceptional circLtmstances and conditions exist which <br /> <br />affect said propertYi that the exception applied for is necessary <br /> <br /> <br />for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights <br /> <br /> <br />of petitioners; and that the granting of said exception will not <br /> <br />be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other <br />property in the neighborhood; and <br />
