<br />- / <br /> <br />. - .. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:6/24/60-7 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />&~.. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 3127 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br />VISIONS.OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- <br />DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />~mEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being <br /> <br /> <br />the Subdivision Ordinance or the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> <br /> <br />or Anthony J. Frates and Mary A. Fra'tes f'or an exception to the <br /> <br /> <br />provisions of' Section 5.31 of' said Ordinance No. 631 to allow the <br /> <br />subdivision of the hereinarter described property into two lots, <br /> <br /> <br />each of' which would have an area of 5,000 square reet instead of <br /> <br /> <br />the required 6,000 square f'eet; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br /> <br /> <br />made is all tfuat certain real property situate in the City of' <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City, County of' San Mateo, state of' California, located <br /> <br />on Haven Avenue and also having f'rontage on Rose Avenue, described <br /> <br />as f'ollows: <br /> <br />Northerly half or Lot 6, Block 10 FRIENDLY ACRES NO.1; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said applicants have submitted a map of' the proposed <br /> <br /> <br />subdivision in accordance with the provisions of' Ordinance No. 631 <br /> <br />and said map has been recommended f'or approval by the Planning <br /> <br /> <br />Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has f'ound and reported to this <br /> <br />Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist which <br /> <br />affect said property; that the exception applied ror is necessary <br /> <br /> <br />for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights <br /> <br /> <br />of petitioners; and that the granting of said exception will not <br /> <br /> <br />be detrimental to the public welrare or adversely affect other <br /> <br /> <br />property in the neighborhood; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a condition to the above rindings, the Planning <br /> <br /> <br />Commission found that it would be necessary for the applicant to <br /> <br />mee t the f' oll01oling c ondi tion: <br />
