<br />-- <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />~ <br />... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:6/27/60-7 <br /> <br />./' <br />is/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />---------- <br /> <br />N o. 3126 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br />VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- <br />DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RED\>JOOD CITY <br /> <br />vmEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, the <br /> <br /> <br />Subdivision Ordinance. of the City of Redwood Ci ty, the Planning <br /> <br />Commission has received and recommended approval of the application <br /> <br />of Ture W. Bjorkman for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 <br /> <br /> <br />of said ordinance No. 631 to allow the ~lbdivision of the herein- <br /> <br />after described property into two lots, one of which would have an <br />area of 5,634 square feet instead of the required 6,000 square feet <br />and which would also have a depth on one side of 45 feet instead <br />of the required depth of 90 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the property for which application to subdivide is <br />made is all that certain real property situate in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, located <br />i~ the vicinity of Redwood Avenue and Ebener Street, described as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Lots 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Block 1, REESE SUB- <br />DIVISION; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has submitted a map of the proposed <br /> <br /> <br />subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 631 <br /> <br /> <br />and said map bas been recommended for approval by the Planning <br /> <br /> <br />Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to this <br /> <br /> <br />Council that exceptional circumstances .and conditions exist which <br /> <br /> <br />affect said property; that the exception applied for is necessary <br /> <br /> <br />for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights <br /> <br /> <br />of petitioner; and that the granting of said exception will not <br /> <br /> <br />be detrimental to the public welfare or adversely affect other <br /> <br /> <br />property in the neighborhood; and <br />
