Name <br /> This Committee is known as the Housing and Human Concerns Committee of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> Section 1.2 Objectives and Purposes <br /> The Committee has the following purposes: <br /> A. To promote affordable housing,monitor changing social needs in the community, and <br /> ensure that these needs are given suff�cient consideration by the City Council and <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> B. To achieve the above through the collective leadership of the Committee in promoting <br /> improved service, appropriate policy, and social responsiveness through all city <br /> departments anci through non-profit social service agencies operating in the city. <br /> � Specific areas of responsibility include: <br /> 1.
