REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City <br />From the City <br />March 3, 2003 <br />Subject <br />2002 -2003 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project <br />Recommendation <br />By Motion, accept completed improvements for the 2002 -2003 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br />Repair Project, and release the contract retention to Sposeto Engineering, Inc. <br />Background <br />The proposed contract was duly advertised and three sealed bids were received and <br />opened at the Office of the City Engineer on April 24, 2002. On May 20, 2002 the City <br />Council approved the contract documents and specifications and awarded the subject <br />contract to Sposeto Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $280,285.00. Wheel chair ramps were constructed at corner locations <br />requested by residents.
