05/24/2010 ORDINANCE NO. 2354 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CHARGES THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 . Section 27.100 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: "Section 27.100. SERVICE CHARGES: A. Established: The following charges are hereby established and levied upon each premises or any portion thereof which receives or uses sewerage service from the sewerage facilities: 1. Residential: All residential units including single - family, duplexes, multi - family dwellings or structures, and similar classes of uses: Monthly rate, effective July 1, 2010: Forty -Eight Dollars and Seventy -Two Cents ($48.72) per dwelling unit and effective July 1, 2011: Fifty -Three Dollars and Ten Cents ($53.10) per dwelling unit. 2. Retail, Commercial: Business establishments including, but not limited to, office buildings, warehouses, filling stations, retail stores, motels, mortuaries, fast -food establishments without on -site food preparation, markets without garbage grinders, and all other similar classes of use not hereinafter expressly described: Minimum monthly rate, effective July 1, 2010: Forty -Eight Dollars and Seventy -Two Cents ($48.72) and effective July 1, 2011: Fifty - Three Dollars and Ten Cents ($53.10) plus an additional monthly charge per one hundred (100) cubic feet of waste or wastewater discharged or deposited into the sewerage facilities in excess of one thousand (1000) cubic feet, as stipulated in the table below. 3. Restaurants: Food establishments where food is prepared and served on the premises and other similar classes of use: Minimum monthly rate, effective July 1, 2010: Forty -Eight Dollars and Seventy -Two Cents ($48.72) and effective July 1, 2011: Fifty - Three Dollars and Ten Cents ($53.10) plus an additional monthly Afty /Ord /Ord.331 1 2354 041310 Formerly Muff #805
