CITY of REDWOOD CITY - DOWNTOWN RETAIL - CINEMA PROJECT ON BROADWAY 5 -11415 <br />site to the selected replacement site. <br />There are two options: <br />(1) a payment for actual reasonable and necessary moving and related <br />expenses; OR, <br />(2) a fixed payment not to exceed $20,000.00. <br />(1) A Payment for Actual Reasonable and Necessary Moving and Related <br />Expenses. <br />This payment may include the following: <br />• Transportation of persons and property from the present location to the <br />replacement location (Transportation costs are limited to a distance of 50 <br />miles); <br />• Packing, crating, uncrating, and unpacking personal property; <br />• Disconnecting, dismantling, removing, reassembling, and installing <br />relocated and substitute machinery, equipment and other personal <br />property. This includes connection to utilities available nearby, and <br />modifications necessary to adapt such property to the replacement <br />structure, or to the utilities, or to adapt the utilities to the personal property; <br />• Storage of personal property generally for up to twelve (12) months, at the <br />City's discretion; <br />• Insurance of personal property while in storage or transit and the <br />replacement value of property lost, stolen, ordamaged (though not through <br />the fault or negligence of the displaced person) in the process of moving; <br />• Subjectto certain limitations, any license, permit or certification required by <br />the displaced business, to the extent that the cost is necessary for <br />reestablishment at the replacement location; <br />PREPARED BY: PAcIFIc RELOCATION CONSULTANTS (PRC) PAGE 9 <br />
