S I A. I - CITY OF REDWOOD CITY -DOWNTOWN RETAIL - CINEMA PROJECT ON BROADWAY <br />Pacific Relocation Consultants <br />7901 Oakport St., Suite 4800 <br />Oakland, CA 94621 <br />(877) 972 -8908 <br />A comprehensive relocation assistance program, with both technical, and advisory <br />assistance, will be provided to the businesses being displaced. Close contact will be <br />maintained with each business and the City's relocation consultant will meet with each <br />business owner at their place of business or other location convenient to the business <br />owner. <br />Specific activities will include: <br />• Distribution of an informational statement. (See Attachment 2) <br />• Timely referrals to appropriate, replacement sites and, if necessary, <br />transportation to inspect potential, replacement properties. <br />• Assistance with the completion, and filing of relocation claims, rental <br />applications or purchase documents and, appeal forms, if necessary. <br />G. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION /PLAN REVIEW <br />This Plan will be provided, and made available for public review, for a period of thirty <br />(30) days prior to submission for adoption by the City. Parties with comments on this <br />Plan may request that their comments be included as an Exhibit to the Plan at the time <br />of adoption. Any person to be displaced may petition the California Department of <br />Housing and Community Development (H &CD) to review the Plan. <br />H. RELOCATION BENEFIT CATEGORIES <br />Relocation benefits will be provided pursuant to State law. Benefits will be paid upon <br />submission of required claim forms and documentation in accordance with the <br />procedures outlined in Attachment 3. <br />Pursuant to California Relocation Law, eligible businesses may receive a relocation <br />payment to cover the reasonable cost of moving their personal property from the Project <br />PREPARED BY: PACIFIC RELOCATION CONSULTANTS (PRC) PAGE 8 <br />
