Staff estimates that the selection process for a charging station provider will <br /> take approximately 64 days. lnstallation and testing for #he charging stations is expected ; <br /> to begin early in 2�11 and be complete by the end of the first quarter of 2011 with the <br /> target date for operational status of all fourteen charging stations expected by April <br /> 2011. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council may choose not to enter into this agreement and reject the grant opportunity <br /> and decide not to install electric vehicle charging stations within the City. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> Matching funds for the project will be approximately $20,000 and have been <br /> appropriated in the FY 2010-2011 budget under the Capital Improvement Program — <br /> Energy Conservation Block Grant.
