8 A -2 <br />Timeline for Approval <br />• An Executive Summary and a 30-day Request for Citizen Comment on the Draft Plan has been <br />published for citizen comment prior to forwarding the documents to Council for approval. <br />• The Housing and Human Concerns Committee completed funding recommendations for <br />CDBG and HOME on March 6, 2003 and approved the final Action Plan on April 3, 2003. <br />• The Planning Commission reviewed the capital projects included in the Action Plan <br />April 1, 2003 and concurred that the activities conform to the City's General Plan. <br />• The City will submit its FY 2003/2004 Annual Action Plan to HUD on May 15, 2003. <br />A Binder of Proposals and Financial Statements for each nonprofit organization applying for <br />funding is available for your review in the Redevelopment, Housing, and Economic Development <br />Division, the City Clerk's Office, and the Library. <br />Alternatives <br />Not approve the Action Plan <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Upon submittal of an approved Action Plan, the City will receive $1.399,000 for housing and <br />community development activities for FY 2003/2004.
