�. 16 -7- <br />AGREEMENT <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />(SYUFY PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this _ day of 2003, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ( "City"), and Wagstaff and Associates <br />( "Consultant ") (collectively, the "Parties "). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, City requires an environmental analysis in order to understand the <br />Potential significance of environmental impact associated with development of 600 <br />residential units, 8,300 square feet of retail space and other amenities (the "Project "); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an Initial Study is <br />required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code <br />§21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines "; <br />14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the completion of the Initial Study, the Project may be <br />subject to environmental review pursuant to CEQA; and <br />WHEREAS, Syufy Enterprises has agreed to pay for the Initial Study and <br />subsequent environmental review and preparation of documents (the "Environmental <br />Review "); and <br />F:Atty /Agr /Agr.114 1 <br />050103 <br />
