A. Full compensation for all mobilization and demobilization measures including labor, materials, tools, and equipment required as necessary will be paid in the Lump Sum Price for MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION. B. Full compensation for all work performed, including but not limited to the placement of barricades, no parking signs, visqueen ground cover, caution tape, delineators, general site cleanup and material off —haul shall all be included as a Lump Sum Price paid for MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION. No additional compensation shall be made. 2. DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING WOOD FASCIA A. Wood Fascia removal shall consist of the complete removal of the wood Fascia assemblies, as shown and noted in the Plans. This shall be inclusive of the complete removal of the 5/8 "plywood sheathing panels, and 5/8" plywood stand - -off panels. Care shall be taken not to damage the existing upper and lower metal flashing, since it will be re -used and re- installed. If the metal flashing is damaged as a result of the construction work, it shall be replaced at the Contractors expense, and no additional compensation from the City will be made. Contractor shall also remove and re- install all lighting fixtures, to their same location, upon completion of the plywood panel completion. B. Full compensation shall be paid to the contractor for all the required work to do the removal /demolition of the existing wood fascia assemblies, off —haul of all the resulting debris, and doing general site clean up. C. Payment will be made at the contract Lump Sum Price for the Demolition of the Existing Wood Fascia. No additional compensation will be made. 3. NEW WOOD FASCIA INSTALLATION A. Full compensation shall be paid to the contractor for all the required work to do the installation of the new wood fascia assemblies, as noted and shown on the plans. B. Work shall consist of furnishing and installing new 5/8" thick APA -AC type of plywood sheathing panels, as well as furnishing and installing new 5/8" thick APA -AC plywood stand off - panels, as shown and noted on the Plans .Complete installation shall consist of 15# Felt Building Paper, Plywood Sheathing Panels, Plywood Stand -off panels, and re- painting of the Existing Metal Flashing. In addition, the front, back, and panel edges of all the new Plywood panels shall be fully painted, so that there are no unfinished edges. C. Paint for the new Wood Fascia panels shall be Kelly Moore, or approved equal .The existing paint color is Spanish Sand —Kelly Moore #1245. A color match will have to be done so that the new paint closely matches the existing building color paint .AII surfaces shall be primed, using Kelly Moore -- Exterior Grade primer. The Flashing shall be painted with Kelly Moore —Frost #1245. 5
