2. Your quote shall include the price, inclusive of labor, equipment, and materials, to <br /> install the vegetation at the designated areas along the levee. The attached <br /> landscaping plan provides additional information and shows the level of effort <br /> required. Vegetation alternatives may be submitted. However all altematives <br /> must be reviewed and approved by a USFWS biologist prior to city acceptance. <br /> 3. Seed mixes may be hydro seeded with a hose or applied by hand onto a lightly <br /> tilled soil surface. All work will be conducted using hand tools. <br /> BIRD PERCHING PREVENTION <br /> 1. The landscaping contractor shall install bird perching prevention devices along <br /> the top of the 1538 LF sheet pile retaining wall (see exhibit B). A double exposed <br /> Nixalite Premium device item #S4B100, or approved equal, shall be used. <br /> PROPOSAL <br /> The proposal shall include the following: <br /> 1. Scope of work <br /> 2. Cost proposal <br /> 3. Construction schedule <br /> 4. List of personnel <br /> Please review the City's standard agreement for construction services attached). Please <br /> note insurance requirements and Paragraph 10, entitled "Indemnification." <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any and all <br /> irregularities to choose the firm which, In the City's opinion, best serves the City's <br /> interests.
