RESOLUTION NO .3198 <br /> RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION <br /> MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br /> (JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) <br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that it does <br /> hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience and neces- <br /> sity require, and that it intends to order, the following work to be <br /> done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: <br /> (1) The improvement of MARSHALL STREET between Jefferson Avenue and <br /> Main Street by the construction and installation therein of three -inch (3 ") <br /> plant -mixed surfacing, fifty -six feet (56') in width on a six -inch (6") <br /> crusher -run rock base over twelve inches (12 ") of imported embankment <br /> sub -base, concrete curb, gutter, monolithic sidewalk and standard commercial <br /> driveway approaches on each side thereof. The raisin or lowering of all <br /> ri y app oach o a g g <br /> manholes, valves, lampholes, cleanout frames and covers, etc. to conform to <br /> the grades established herein, and the construction of all necessary <br /> appurtenances thereto. <br /> (2) The construction and installation of reinforced concrete <br /> catchbasins and necessary fifteen -inch (15") reinforced concrete pipe for <br /> the drainage system and all other necessary appurtenances to complete the <br /> storm drainage system. <br /> (3) The construction and installation of the street lighting system <br /> complete with four (4) electroliers and four (4) future stubs, and all <br /> necessary appurtenances to complete the street lighting system. <br /> (4) The removal of all trees, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, barricades, <br /> driveways, headers and all other obstructions in the line of the work. <br /> (5) The construction and installation of all work, and the <br /> furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary thereto, <br /> auxiliary to, or which may be reasonably required to complete any of the <br /> work provided to be done in paragraphs 1 to 4 above. <br /> -1- <br />
