RESOLUTION NO .3198 RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS (JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience and neces- sity require, and that it intends to order, the following work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: (1) The improvement of MARSHALL STREET between Jefferson Avenue and Main Street by the construction and installation therein of three -inch (3 ") plant -mixed surfacing, fifty -six feet (56') in width on a six -inch (6") crusher -run rock base over twelve inches (12 ") of imported embankment sub -base, concrete curb, gutter, monolithic sidewalk and standard commercial driveway approaches on each side thereof. The raisin or lowering of all ri y app oach o a g g manholes, valves, lampholes, cleanout frames and covers, etc. to conform to the grades established herein, and the construction of all necessary appurtenances thereto. (2) The construction and installation of reinforced concrete catchbasins and necessary fifteen -inch (15") reinforced concrete pipe for the drainage system and all other necessary appurtenances to complete the storm drainage system. (3) The construction and installation of the street lighting system complete with four (4) electroliers and four (4) future stubs, and all necessary appurtenances to complete the street lighting system. (4) The removal of all trees, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, barricades, driveways, headers and all other obstructions in the line of the work. (5) The construction and installation of all work, and the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary thereto, auxiliary to, or which may be reasonably required to complete any of the work provided to be done in paragraphs 1 to 4 above. -1-
