TEHAXEY, hereinafter referred to as "Tehaney." RiITALS A. John D. Tehaney is the owner of five lots which comprise the Cordilleras Glen Subdivision, as designated on that map of "Tract No. 786, Cordilleras Glen," recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Nate*, California, in Volume 53 of Naps, page 23, which property is located in unincorporated area adjacent to the City of Redwood City. 8. John D. Tehaney desires to annex said property to the City of Redwood City and top receive water service from the ex- isting City water main in Cordilleras Road, and desires to pay his share of the cost of the necessary water main facilities. In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, City and T•haney do hereby mutually agree as follows: 1. Tehaney agrees to pay City, within ten (10) days from the execution of this agreement, the sum of Two Thousand Fifty- five Dollars ($2,055.00). It is understood that said sum is paid by Tehaney in lieu of installing water system improvements to service the above described property and as partial payment for the cost of the water main improvements already installed. 2. It is understood by the parties to this agreement that Tehaney contemplates the initiation of annexation proceedings. independently of the matters contained in this agreement, to annex the previously described property to the City of Redwood City.
