However, the Contractor insisted that the contract should be awarded to <br />him, based on a "clerical error' on the basis that his Total Bid Price includes the missing <br />item of work. By rejecting all bids, the City will avoid the possibility of a lengthy and <br />costly proceeding, should any of the bidders challenge the City's award of contract. <br />Alternative <br />1. If the Council chooses to award the contract to Pacific Infrastructure, Inc., other <br />bidders may have grounds for protest. <br />2.
