REG:yc:3 /11/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3014 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY CON- <br /> SENTING TO DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has re- <br /> ceived the written request and consent of at least two - thirds of <br /> the freeholders within the territory described in Exhibit "A", <br /> which is hereto attached and by reference incorporated herein, <br /> who are also the holders of at least two - thirds of the value of <br /> the real property in the territory so described, to the detach- <br /> ment of said territory from the corporate limits of the City of <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is presently within the corporate <br /> limits of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said written consent was submitted to said Council <br /> pursuant to Section 35304 of the Government Code of the State of <br /> California; and <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is uninhabited territory, as defined <br /> in Section 35303 of the Government Code of the State of California; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has given <br /> due consideration to said request and consent; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City of Redwood City hereby grants its consent <br /> to the detachment of all that territory which is described in <br /> Exhibit "A" hereto attached, from the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Redwood City and the annexation of the same to the City <br /> of San Carlos, pursuant to the provisions of Section 35304. of <br /> the Government Code of the State of California. <br />
