4111 <br /> R E S 0 L U T 10 N N O. 2 <br /> RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSI"IENTS <br /> AND ASSESSMENT DIAGRAI4 <br /> MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, on <br /> July 20, 1959, duly and regularly passed and adopted Reso- <br /> lution No. 296, declaring its intention to make certain <br /> improvements in the City of Redwood City, more particularly <br /> described in said resolution and to which resolution <br /> reference is hereby made for further particulars; and <br /> WHEREAS, an assessment diagram was prepared and ap- <br /> proved by the Council of the City of Redwood City on <br /> November 2, 1959, to which diagram reference is hereby made <br /> for further particulars; and <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements have been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> WHEREAS, an assessrnent to cover the cost of doing the <br /> work described in said Resolution No. 2(96 has been filed <br /> with the Clerk of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the filing of said assessment was <br /> given by the Clerk of the City of Redwood City by hosting, <br /> causing to be published, and mailing notices of the assess- <br /> ment to each person owning property proposed to be assessed <br /> therefor, in the manner required by law; and <br /> WHEREAS, a hearing was held on February 15, 1960, in <br /> the City Hall of the City of Redwood City, at which time all <br /> written protests against said assessment were read; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the same time and place all other protests <br /> against said assessrnent were heard; and <br /> WHEREAS, all said protests were duly overruled and denied: <br /> -1- <br />
