PROHIBITED FINANCIAL INTERESTS: <br /> No City officer shall be financially interested in any <br /> contract, sale or purchase contrary to the provisions of the <br /> general laws of the State as the same now exist or may here- <br /> after be amended." <br /> Said Charter Amendment Proposal No. 3 shall be submitted to <br /> the electors in the form of a proposal printed on the ballot at <br /> said general municipal election as follows: <br /> "CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSAL NO. 3 <br /> Shall Charter Amendment Proposal No. 3,amending Sec- <br /> tion 77 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City to <br /> provide that no City officer shall be financially interested <br /> in any transaction contrary to the provisions of State law, <br /> be approved? <br /> YES =7 <br /> NO / / " <br /> Section 2. Each voter to vote for any of the charter <br /> amendment proposals submitted by this resolution shall stamp a <br /> cross (X) in the blank space opposite the word "YES" on the ballot <br /> to the right of said charter amendment proposal, and to vote <br /> against any of the charter amendment proposals submitted by this <br /> resolution shall stamp a cross (X) in the blank space opposite <br /> the word "NO" on the ballot to the right of said charter amend- <br /> ment proposal. On absent -voter ballots, the cross (X) may be <br /> marked with pen or pencil. <br /> Section 3. All persons qualified to vote at municipal <br /> elections in the City of Redwood City upon the date of election <br /> herein called and ordered shall be qualified to vote upon the <br /> charter amendment proposals submitted herein. <br /> -5- <br />
